► Big Sale of Bonds, Stamps NEW YORK, N. Y., May 11.— A total of 2,298.70 in War Savings Bonds and Stamps was sold by members of the American Womens Voluntary Services at the Jamaica race course during its 27-day spring meeting, which ended Saturday, May 9. The final week of that meeting, May 2 through May 9, was the banner six days, 9,095.70 having been sold in War Savings Bonds and Stamps at the American Womens Voluntary Services several booths. This same group of women war workers will carry on the sale at Belmont Park.
