CARD GAME improved his position steadily under urging and. when settled for the stretch, came inside the leaders and outfinished CAMILLE in the final drive. The latter displayed speed from the start, but was drifting out in the stretch run and carried WAPAN with her. ACROBAT came through on the inside entering the stretch, moved up stoutly and tjjpn hung at the finish. WAPAN was sent up fast after the start and, entering the stretch, was on the outside of the leader and finished well. BOSSUET was slow to start and closed with a rush. HIDDEN ACE. under urging, could not keep up. RURALES had early speed and then quit. PLUCKY RAY raced well. EXEMPTION had no mishaps. REX faltered in the stretch run. VACUUM CLEANER was never a factor. ZAC was outrun. QUIZ bore out after the start and was eased up. LUZON dropped back after the start. RICHMOND was sprinted into command at the start, displayed speed while saving ground and was under light urging in the final sixteenth. VAIN PRINCE responded when placed under pressure in the stretch run and outfinished QUAKER- TOWN. The latter showed a good effort and finished with good courage. HAPPY LARK, in nearest pursuit of the early pace, faltered in the final eighth. BREEKS was well up and under mild restraint, but quit when urged. BRIGHT GALLANT had no mishaps. HOMEWARD BOUND was outrun to the stretch turn. EQUALIZE, fractious at the post, broke from outside the stall. CROSS COUNTRY was never a factor. Daily Double on the First and Second Races Paid 14.70. Won easily; second and third driving. GULLIVER II. was under steady restraint in the running and moved up nearing the seventh fence and, after assuming command going to the final fence, drew away. ALCADALE jumped well and, close up from the start, faltered in the final eighth. AIR MARSHAL showed speed under sufferance and ran out after taking the sixth fence, came again and then tired at the end. NIGHT HERON was never a factor. Scratched— 959603 Frozen North, 146. POMROSE raced straight and showed speed all the way, responded when urged in the final eighth and held DRIVEN SNOW safe at the end. The jatter moved up with determination on the inside in the late stages and finished well. STEFANITA was a prominent factor all the way and had no mishaps. OPTIMISM, from a slow start, closed fast through the final eighth. NOW MANDY finished well at the end. OPERA SINGER showed speed and then tired. HURRIETTE raced well throughout. SONOROUS was outrun. TELLMENOW faltered steadily. PROMI-NETTE was never a factor. ADROIT was outrun. CLICKETY CLACK bolted after the first eighth and unseated rider. Scratched— 23109Twin Lakes, 111. GALA REIGH was close up from the start and, assuming the lead entering the stretch, outlasted BOSTOFF. The latter, slow to settle into stride, lost ground entering the stretch, but closed with a determined rush. AT WHICH responded when, urged in the stretch run and finished well. HI-KIP came through, on the inside entering the stretch, but hung at the finish. PARABOLOID showed a good effort. HI DIDDLE was away slowly and lacked early speed. INDIAN GIFT was never a factor. RODIMIC could not keep up. JURY GAL was outrun. DINAH DID PLAY had no mishaps. AMPERAGE had a flash of early speed. DEPOSIT quit badly. SIXTH RACE 3-4 MILE Widener Straight Course. OMISSION was under pressure in the final eighth and was sent up between the leaders to dispose of OVERDRAWN in the final strides. The latter was well up throughout and, under steady restraint, moved up when urged, but hung in the final sixteenth, then came again under pressure in the drive. ROSETOWN worked her way up and finished with a rush. OCEAN BLUE, on the inside, displayed speed throughout and had no mishaps. PARASANG finished with good courage from a slow beginning. HARVARD SQUARE was well up throughout and had no mishaps. THIRD DEGREE dropped back steadily. DISPOSE had no mishaps. CUANTOS had no mishaps. BULL REIGH could not improve his position. Won driving; second and third the same. LOCHINVAR was under restraint in the early running and moved up with a rush on the outside going to the far turn, responded to pressure in the stretch drive and outfinished AIR CURRENT at the end. The latter was rated along under steady restraint and, entering the stretch, was placed under pressure, moved up, then faltered in the final drive. K. DORKO showed speed from the start, saved ground and had i»6 mishaps. EIRE raced well all the way and had no mishaps. EPAMINONDUS was sent up going to the far turn and, though blocked, case to the outside to finish fast. GREBE, in nearest pursuit of the pace throughout, had no mishaps. HILLBLOND was outrun and failed to gain on the leaders. SCTRAWBERRY was close up in the early stages, but faltered. GOOSEBERRY was sent up on the inside rounding the far turn, but quit. COUNT MAURICE was outrun.
