Pascoag Meeting Opens Friday --First Post Time 3 oCIock PASCOAG, R. I., June 29. Officials at this Burrillville, R. I., half-mile track, which held its first meeting last fall, are 11 completing preparations for opening day of the summer meeting at Pascoag Park next Friday. Both horsemen and patrons who were , at Pascoag last fall will see many improvements at the coming meeting. Most prominent is a new roof on the grandstand that was previously covered with a huge canvas from the New York Worlds Fair. Now there is a permanent roof that will provide suitable refuge on rainy days. Stabling facilities have also been improved with new flooring in the barns that were built last fall. Post time every day at Pascoag during the summer meeting that will run from July 3 to August 8 has beenjset for 3 oclock. It is the latest post "time ever adopted by a New England track. Races will be run half -hourly., Horses continue to pour into the Pascoag barns, and racing secretary Gordon Morrow has been kept busy accepting registrations. Morrow anticipates more than 500 horses before the Opening next Friday.
