. Aqueduct Apportions Its 00,000 to War Relief Makes Outright Contribution of 1,918 to Guarantee Pledge NEW YORK, N. Y., June 29. The Queens County Jockey Club made an out-rigtit contribution of 1,918.02 to War Relief in order to meet the 00,000 guarantee to the Army Emergency Relief, Navy Relief Society and the United Service Organizations, on Army-Navy Day, Saturday, June 27, at Aqueduct. There were additional contributions amounting to ,115, which made the grand total amount for War Relief 01,115. The Army Emergency Relief and the Navy Relief Society each received 0,446, and the USO received 0,223. The total track receipts for the day were 16,081.98, divided as follows: Commission on handle, 7,309.70; breakage, ,536.95; admissions, 0,293.20, and sale of pro-1 grams, ,942. 13 Purses and stakes for the days program amounted to 8,000, which were deducted, leaving net receipts of 8,081.98. The Queens County Jockey Clubs contribution of 1,918.02 brought the figure up to the 00,000 guarantee. The additional receipts of ,115 brought the grand total up to 01,115, which was divided among the three war relief agencies 40 per cent each to Army and Navy Relief and 20 per cent to the USO. In addition, the Queens County Jockey Club on Army-Navy Day paid all expenses on operations, deducting only the 8,000 distributed as added money in stakes and purses.
