State Receives ,876,987 ALBANY, N. Y., June 17.— Despite a decline of 17 per cent in attendance and transportation difficulties, the 24-day spring meeting at Belmont Park, from May 10 to June 5, yielded the State of New York 2.54 per cent more than in 1942, it was announced here today. The states share of the pari-mutuel take and breakage amounted to ,876,987. The attendance was 362,739, against 437,190 last year. The average net per person was 0.43. The daily average play throughout the meeting was ,215,643, a new record in racing.
