DARBY DOC, well ridden and never far back, came to the outside entering the stretch and, responding to good urging, wore down the leaders and was up in the closing strides. PORTERS TEA, a sharp factor from the start, took a short lead when settled for the drive and continued gamely, but was unable to withstand the winner. CEE LOT improved his position steadily in the first half, came between horses on the final turn and finished resolutely. DOTS KEY raced to the front at once, set the pace to the stretch and faltered during the drive. PLAYFUL PAL was unable to threaten under good handline. JAYAKAY went evenly without mishaps. TOWER LASS could not reach the leaders and had no excuses. IRISH FLIGHT tired. QUICK BUBBLE was done after three-eighths. Overweight — Porters Tea, 5 pounds: Borsch. 1. Claimed— Dots Key by Mrs. A. SEANCE, never far back and well ridden, came to the outside for the diie and, responding readily when roused, wore down the leaders and won drawing clear. DODOS GIRL, a keen factor from the start, went to the front in the stretch and continued gamely under punishment, but was unable to withstand the winner. STE. FRANCES worked her way up steadily and closed well under urging. DUOLO. on the outside throughout, could not reahc the leaders when hard urged in the drive. DARBY DIMOUT faltered after displaying good speed to the last eighth. DEM SUN could not threaten and had no excuses. MERT O. becan fast and set the pace to the stretch before tiring. VISOON was never prominent. GAY FLAG lan greenly. SUGMAE was done early. HEYORTA was always far back. OCEAN BOUND could not threaten. VALDINA LOVE could not reach serious contention under good handling. POPS RIYAL was done after three-eighths and was not persevered with when hopelessly beaten.
