Col. Matt J. Winn Preparing To Go East in Near Future STICKNEY, 111., June 17.— Col. Matt J. Winn, executive director of Lincoln Fields, will wind up the affairs of the current meeting during the several days following Saturdays close and then will make preparations to leave for the East on a business trip. He expects to get away from Chicago in about two weeks. Colonel Winn has been congratulated on the success of the Lincoln Fields meeting in spite of the abnormal amount of bad weather that attended the opening weeks, and he was gratified to learn that horsemen were satisfied with the purse distribu- tion and the general conduct of the meeting.
