BRAXTON BELL, slow to begin and in close quarters, was forced to the outside for room and, responding readily, wore down the leaders to be drawing away at the end. PANDISCO. a strong factor from the start and in close quarters the greater part of the trip, wore down LADY CONSTANCE and was unable to hold the winner. The latter lost ground from the start, subdued CH1CONY and tired in the last stages. CH1CONY was rushed from the start, met slight interference approaching the stretch, drove through the field to reach the lead and tired. SIR LARK-MEAD came from well back. MISS NADI was shuffled back at the turn and showed little after recovering. NAMUR was outrun. FLYING WATERS ran off a half before the start and was through after a half mile. GRAND BONNY, fastest to begin, W3 taken in hand when outrun, lost much ground while holding a prominent position, wore down YALDINA PURGE after reaching the final eighth and drew away swiftly to win in hand. JULIET C. worked her way forward through the field and finished strongly. SHREWD ROAMER broke slowly, raced well back to the stretch and closed with a rush on the outside. GAY NASH tiied after improving his position. CARLARLASS was blocked repeatedly. OZ7.IE had a rough trip. RAZOR SHARP established a clear lead under hustling tactics, held sway under strong handling and. responding to brisk urging while saving ground, staved off HALF TIME. The latter was slow to reach his best stride, came through the field and closed determinedly. ARROWTRACTION went evenly and held on under strong handling. DISTRACT worked his wav forward steadily and finished on the inside. DARBY DALLAS lost much eround in the drive. TREEMONTIER had speed. KANSAS CITY had no mishaps. LETTER V dropped back aproaching the turn, refused to extend himself under hard ursine., came to the inside for the drive and failed to threaten. O. K. JACK VENNIE was shuttled back whtn DLTV FIRST came *ver, raced forwardly on the outside and finished stronzet of all. DLTV FIRST came over sharply at the turn and tired atter reaching contention.
