i Dunstan on Turf Broadcast Nelson Dunstan, DAILY RACING FORM columnist, will participate in a nationwide turf broadcast Saturday afternoon from 5:00 to 5:15 Central War Time, with station WMAQ serving as the local outlet. Also on the Arlington preview program will be jockey Carroll Bierman, well-known rider, and Cecil Wilhelm, trainer of the William E. Boeing stable. Bierman was astride Attention when the latter defeated Whirlaway in the 1941 Classic Stakes and also had the mount on Alsab in his memorable match race with Whirlaway at Nar-ragansett Park last summer. Wilhelm has, among others in his charge at the Washington Park course, Devils Thumb and Slide Rule, two of the more highly regarded members of the three-year-old division.
