DREAM FOX, away slowly, bettered bis position slowlv. was inclined to bear to the inside in the drive and, getting up. drew clear in the closing strides FLY THE COOP, hustled to the front on the inside, opened up a good advantage on the stretch turn and bung on fairly well under a drive. FLYING TOY, a sharp factor from the start and raced wide also fought it out gamely in the drive. WE1SENHEIMER raced well from a slow beginning. RANGLE had to race wide and tired in the late stages. OPERA STAR dropped out of contention soon »fter the start and was far back thereafter. BETTY MAIN q-nt after a half. GUMMED LP, weli up from the start, hung on with determination. CHANCE TEA. away slowlv, improved her position on the turn and, closing well, was wearing down GUMMED IP. KK.EKEE raced wide and could not reach the leaders. TORCH GLEAM was held safe. BOOK PLATE had early speed and drifted out when tiring. BFAMY showed little. SOUTHERN JANE quit badly. HIGH HARP, inclined to hear to the inside when under hustling tactics early, followed the pacemaker under a light hold on the turn, •lowly wore down PEACE AGAIN and was drawing out at the end. PEACE AGAIN had speed from the itart, saved ground and held on well. QUEEN KIZZIE. away slowly, raced wide throughout and, finishing resolutely, headed SAMMY ANGOTT at the end. The latter, away well, was inclose quarters for aHsrief time in the opening quarter and, tiring in the late "stages, failed to withstand QUFEN KIZZIE. HOBBY S FIRST bore out on the turn and, suffering a hemoirhuge, was not persevered with thereafter. SENED veered out sharplv soon after the start. LADY LIBERTY, allowed to open up a commanding lead with a rush and only lightly restrained after reaching the turn, tired badly and, briskly roused in the last sixteenth, had little left. MARION COLLINS, under occasional light pressure early, closed with determination and was rapidly overtaking the winner at the end. KESARGO, under eneigetic riding from the start, saved ground, but tired when the real test came, vet outstayed ANXIETY. The latter, badly outrun early.* finished stror.eest of all. BURGOO MAID went with" fine speed from the start, came around BOLO TIE when entering the stretch and, much the best, drew out thereafter. BOLO TIE, under hustiing tactics, also displayed eood speed in the early paeemaking, readily gave way to the winner, but continued welMo the last sixteenth, where he faltered. WTSEASYOC, well up from the start, did not rally to pressure and gave way gradually the final three sixteenths. HEART BREAKER saved much ground and had no mishaps. MODWENA offered no serious contention. BIG BOY lacked speed. ALACYON. taken back early, was tar back after the first three sixteenths. LLROID dropped cut of contention after a quarter. SWOOSH, away slowly and badly outrun to the final turn, responded to pre sure to move up on the outside, disposed of the leaders, then came away. HAZEL LEE, a strong factor after a half and in hand to the stretch, met light interference in the drive and tired in the final eighth, but disposed of ALLEY. The latter, never far back and also rated to the stretch, rallied when called upon, but faltered sharply in the iast eighth. COLORS lP, steadied when outrun, closed a gap soon after reaching the stretch, but gave way near the end. YALDINA MARGE was held safe. YALDINA GYPSY met no mishap. QLTCK TOOL took command approaching the stretch, but tired under increased pressure in the last three sixteenths. WAYRIEL was alwaxs far back. BLACK MARK had earlv speed. VENTURE CAP. away slowly and timidly handled early, made up ground while under eood restraint on the final turn, was taken to the inside in the stretch and. closing well, headed SAL OLD PAL in the final stride. The latter made the pace under good rating, drifted out entering the stretch and. whil« she readily submitted to the challenge of the winner, she made a game effort in the drive. SONNY O.
