Hawthorne Track Request STICKNEY, 111., June 17. — Charles Krutckoff, president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, said that the Hawthorne track, scene of the Lincoln Fields meeting, which ends Saturday, will be close as quickly as possible and all horsemen will be requested to vacate the premises as quickly as possible. Krutckoff said all the horses here will have to be removed so that the Hawthorne management can put in motion its program of improvements in the stable area. Many of j the barns are to be renovated before the Hawthorne meeting begins here in the fall.
