Ranks Why Hurry, a 7 to 1 shot, won the New Oak Stakes at Newmarket today with a neck triumph over Ribbon, the favorite, from the stable of Lord Rosebery. Why Hurry covered the mile and one-half route, for three-year-old fillies, in 2:33.1 as Mrs. MacDonald-Buchanans Tropical Sun took show honors, another length away.
