The latter, slow to begin and far back to the la-t ihree eighths, slipped throueh on the inside entering the stretch and closed resolutely under punishment. ROYAL SHAWL improved her position steadily to the final quarter, came between horses during the rime but faltered slightly Hearing the tini-h. GET GOOD coi.ld not reach the leaders when subjected to punishment in the stretch. FAY D. finished fast after beginning slowly. FLYING REIGH tired after reaching the le;.d in the stretch. ALFADILDO, a sharp factor from the start, came determinedly when hard urged during the stretch run, but could not overhaul the winner. JACK K. worked way up steadily in the first half, secured a contending position in the stretch, but hung near the finish. JO ANN, on the outside throughout, raced evenly without mishaps. eiing a good effort. SHAKER-MAN could not better his position under strong handling and had no excuses. VALDINA VICAR, on the outside and outrun to the stretch, finished determinedly under urging. AZIZI began slug-lishly, was outrun in the first half and then closed fast. YIBLRNl.M took command early, set the pace to the stretch under pressure from JO KAPI and then eave way. GOLD FANCY, slow to begin and far back to the final quarter, passed tired horses in the strethc. PARTED WATERS quit after five eighths. F1REGLAS tired.
