DAWN, tkaen to the inside early, continued to obtain room next to the rail when wearing down YOUNG BUDDY, came out slightly before drawing clear and won with something left. YOLN BUDDY displaved good speed from the start, met light interference entering the stretch and held on well. LITTLE STEVE, forced to lose ground, closed fast. APPY WAY. a strong factor from the start, swerved to the inside near the end. ARNEL bore out throughout and otherwise might have been a stronger factor. JUNE T. gave way suddenly in the stretch. GREMLIN, in close quarters early, lacked speed when clear. MISS ESCOBA ran out badly when leaving the back stretch. Scratched— K. WICKED, under a eood hold to the last quarter, worked his way to the front under pressure, but tired M the late slaecs. GOOD GOSH, weakly handled and forced to race wide, entered contention with a rush in the stretch, then faltered. „EZT1PS did not keep up in the drive. HASTY KISS raced very wide throughout, moved up strongly after straightening out in the stretch and, continuing well to the end. drew out through the final eighth. ALNED, outrun to the stretch, closed strongly on the inside. DOLL BABY, well up from the start and kept in hanj for a half, responded to light pressure, escaped the late crowding, but tailed to withstand ALNED. BASOLEUS was racing well when impeded in the stretch, was slow to recover, but finished well. MARCEI.LA K. had speed and swerved slightly when faltering in the drive. OVYASSE was unable to get up. CHICAGO DR. tired when the real test came. GALLANT FLAY had to be eased when impeded in the stretch and had little chance thereafter. Scratched— 42461 Mighty Lucky, 106. ELISSA B., slow to respond to vcigorous riding, closed fast through the final sixteenth. YALDINA MALDEN also finished well. YALDINA DATE tired gradually in the last three sixteenths. The latter, under snug restraint to the final quarter, rallied to urging, but tired near the end. RED CIN, far bark to the stretch, closed strongly. DISCUSSION tired in the drive. IDLE SUN gave wav graduallv in the final quarter and pulled up lame. K. ROUNDER raced wide the final half. THRIFT SHOP quit.
