MISS ADA J., off in a tangle, took the lead leaving the backstretch. opened up a lone; lead, but was kept under punishment to the end. MISS FREEDOM, off slowly and badly outrun early, moved up between horses to the stretch, went to tht outside and was just up for the place. RAMPAGE raced in the first flight from the start and had no mishaps. GLORIOUS SEC showed good early speed, but tired in the closing eighth. OUR DAMSEL was done early. BONNIE 1NA was done early. PEACE PARLEY, much the best, was in close quarters early, moved into contention with a rush when clear, took command entering the stretch and diew cleai to win easily. AUDIBLE opened a long early lead and was next best. FABA was hard ridden throughout and had no mishaps. INDUCTED, shuffled back early, remained on the inside and closed well when urged. GALLANT SON closed some ground. VETERAN tired after being in early contention. The others failed to menace. Scratched— 55119 Toil Away, 115; Connie"s Girl, 115. SIMOON fenced well while saved off the pace, took command after the twelfih fence, opened a long lead and was hard ridden to the end, almost falling at the last fence. ROUGEMONT alternated in making and forcing the pace, was in front when he landed poorly at the fifth, recovered and a?ain showed in front, but tired after the twelfth fence. FAY COTTAGE fenced poorly, but was best of the others. BLUE NOSE raced with the pace throughout, and tired in the closing half mile. TREFORD showed eood early speed, but tired badly alter the eighth obstacle and filially fell at the twelfth jump. MUFFLED DRUMS made a bad lanriine and lost his rider at the eleventh. BEGGAR, showing good speed in the going, was off slowly, raced on the outside when moving up and won going away. JUSTA NOTE moved up gradually to take command near the eighth post, but could not hold the winner. THIRD TRIAL raced into contention from the start, moved to the leaders entering the stretch and then hung in the drive. TAGEL disposed of SILVER PENNANT early and then tired. FEATHER BOB closed some ground. SILVER PENNANT tired after trying to rare TAGEL into defeat. LOVE PACT was badly outrun early and overtook only Cred horses. SAVE quit to a walk after flashing early foot. TOP MONEY was done early. Scratched— 56222 Valdina Brave, 112; 56145 Polly Ender, 107. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. Joe Ray. ABRASION disposed of BLUE TWINK without being punished, drew into a long advantage, was shaken up when UNDULATOR made a mild bid at * mid-stretch and went out to win easily. UNDULATOR, slow to eet under way, moved up gradually, but was no match for the winner. POMPECO lacked speed early and was best of the others. BLUE TWINK showed early speed, but appeared short. MISFLYING moved with the winner, but was overmatched. GINOCA raced with the pace whil» under a snug grip, went to the front nearing the quarter post, but tired badlv on«e headed. THESEUS, in contention from the start, rallied mildly, but was no match for the winner. CAPT. CAUTION raced well up for half a mile and then faltered. ROMNEY REX broke fastest, made the pace for half a mile and then tired. RED WRACK trailed for three quarters and then failed to respond to punishment. POMIVA, off in the center of the pack, was on the outside Hearing the eighth post and drew clear from that point to the finish. SAMUEL D. off last, closed well through the last sixteenth. JUSTICE NAP, off fast, was on the outside at the finish. TOONERVILLE broke in front and led most of the way, but tired thereafter. ADMIRAL JIM broke well.
