Boost Narragansett Minimum; Trainer Awards in All Races PAWTUCKET, R. I.. April 24— An up-I ward revision in the horsemens purses and awards was announced this morning by judge James E. Dooley, executive head of i Narragansett Park. Commencing today, a trainers award of 00 will be added to , every purse. It will be divided 0 to the trainer of the winner; 5 to the second, 5 to third and 0 to the trainer saddling j the fourth horse. Commencing tomorrow there will be a general increase in the purse distribution j scale. The minimum purse will be ,300. This scale will apply only in races where horses run for a claiming price of ,000. All other purses will be ,400 and upward. Racing secretary Ty Shea will make the necessary revisions in the book and will post the specific increases daily on the bulletin board in the administration build- j tog. 1
