I., April 24.— Racing secretary and handicapper Ty Shea has arranged a well balanced program of eight races for presentation here tomorrow after-r noon. The Patriot Purse, a six-furlong dash for three -year-olds is to serve as the top attraction and 10 of the better sprinters have been named to answer the bugle. Prominent in the band is W. I. Lunts Merry Sunshine, Dixiana-bred miss who won the Dumas Purse at the recent Oak-lawn Park meeting and finished second to F. A. Piarullis Prissy Miss in an overnight event on April 19. Merry Sunshine raced as if she was a bit short when she bowed to Prissy Miss and she is accorded an excellent chance to reverse the decision over her rival in the Concord. Prissy Miss will race coupled with Mrs. J. Kozachyns Dandy Jim, and trainer Joseph C. Camac stated today that his charges are in good condition. Rounding out the field for the feature are B. F. Listers Eternity, Mrs. D. B. Mil- lers Kelspride, Mrs. Wallace Renards Olidor, Mrs. F. D. Rices Greenbush, Sandy Lane Farms U. S. Salute, Mrs. R. C. Hodges Miss U. S. O. and Ber-Mar Farms Double Feature. The latter three are not to be overlooked. Miss U. S. O. scored a clever decision in the Bridgewater Purse last week-end, Double Feature visited the winners circle here twice during the cur-_ rent meeting and U. S. Salute won his last start at the Hialeah session. Four-year-olds and upward are to clash in the first, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth races, the initial three at six fur- longs, the seventh at one mile and three-sixteenths and the finale at one mile and 70 yards. The third on the card will bring together nine of the better two-year-olds at four and a half furlongs and the second event is exclusively for three-year-olds to meet at six furlongs.
