STILL GALLANT, slow to get -going, moved as horses labored in the going and closed well without being able to menace. OLD WHITEY raced closest to the pace early, could not cope with the winner when the latter moved and raced evenly thereafter. MISS VEP had no mishap. JISUNA, forced to be eased early when in close quarters, came well when clear, but could not menace. KNIGHT quit. Overweight Miss McGurk, 2 pounds.
