Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Hawthorne, Cicero, HI., May 22. C. A. Bidencope arrived from Louisville and he has Harriet Sue, Westfield, Friedy and Cousin Stim quartered at Lincoln Fields. Bidencope also will take over Dispatch from T. Scott, who is training the Mr. and Mrs. Davis Feldman stable. Jockey Hank Manifold will depart fof Omaha on May 26 and he will do the bulk of the riding at Ak-Sar-Ben for Willard T. Beezley. John D. Jackson, general manager of Arlington and Washington Parks, was a Hawthorne visitor. T. A. Janeke left for River Downs with Brilliant Jr. and Win Fin, the property of Van Cura and Hudlik. W. R. Kanatzer is due at Arlington Park with a carload of thoroughbreds shipped from California. Jockey Willie Hanka, contract rider for the Milton Rieser Stable, accepted mounts on the Thursday program at Hawthorne. Willard T. Beezley, who has six horses quartered at Omahas Ak-Sar-Ben track, arrived here today to transact business. Beezley stated that over 550 horses are stabled at the Nebraska oval, where a 30-day meeting will open on May 27. Sam McPherson, veteran turfman, checked in from Churchill Downs and registered Overcross for campaigning here. Eric Blind, a member of the starter Roy Dickersons staff at Arlington and Washington Parks, will begin schooling at Arlington on Saturday. Blind stated that several stables already are in quarters at the North Side course. J. E. Hollingsworth left for Omaha with Paddy D. and Chance Day after the latter plater filled her engagement here on Tuesday. David Womeldorff arrived from Churchill Downs with In the Bag, Roy Jay, Hand Torch and Bodens Pal, registering the quartet for racing here. The Womeldorff charges are the property of Benjamin En-doyina.
