Acute Indigestion Almost Ended Atomic Powers Career SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 22. Trainer Merritt "Happy" Buxton of Rarco Stables Atomic Power, winner of the 0,000 Constitution Mile last Saturday, disclosed today that the colts racing days almost came to an end three weeks ago Sunday when stricken with acute indigestion, the result of eating too much, too quickly. "I had three doctors caring for him and we needed 10 men to get him off the floor of the stall," related Buxton. "He just laid down and was sure going to die. He recovered quickly and will be better in the Yankee than ever before."
