FIGHTER JACK, taken back of the pace and placed under steadying restraint to the final quarter mile, moved readily along the rail, came to the outside of the leader while taking command and drew out readily. LUSMORES, steadied on the outside, lost ground when roused, closed well, but was no match for the winner. RED TAG closed willingly between horses. BUNTYS IMP opened a comfortable lead soon after the start, tired entering the stretch and was weaving at the end. REBUKE went evenly. ST. LOUISAN was never prominent. INSTANTER quit. GALLA BABE rallied when placed under pressure-, came to the outside for the drive, but was not good enough. SEDULOUS lacked early speed. TRU-MISS saved ground while racing close to-the pace, made a brief challenge, then weakened. LADY JACSUN was used up forcing the pace. CAMBETT showed nothing. WISE BRUNETTE raced evenly. SCHOLARSHIP responded when roused, engaged BROWNSKIN for command and forged to the frontsjn the final yards. BROWNSKIN opened a commanding lead soon after the start, saved ground and held on stubbornly when challenged. RINGNECK, in hand while in close attendance of the pace, swung out entering the stretch and was put to stout pressure, but was not good enough. GUNNING ISLAND had no mishap. TRANS EGRET went evenly. HIGH HUNCH raced close to the pace on the outside after a half mile, then flattened out. MISS KAZOO was never prominent. PRINCESS HOPE drew clear soon after the beginning, increased her margin before a half mile, was kept in the middle of the track and survived a sustained stretch drive. LONG HILL drove up along the inside and was pressing at the end. MOCHA forced the pace, challenged on the outside of the leader, then faltered. KINGFISH was taken back at the start and steadied to the final quarter mile, then rallied mildly. FINAL DRIVE had speed for a half mile. DAINTY ONE and TEASE ME NOT were never prominent. FLIC FLAC, in hand while settling into best stride, rushed boldly on the far turn, drew in closest attendance of the leader, but was unable to menace. IN TASTE worked her way up between horses when the winner made his move, challenged gamely in the stretch, but was not good enough. DUSTY DEMON raced wide early, was steadied to the final quarter mile, then finished resolutely. TEANECK FLASH tired after losing command. BULVERDE showed nothing. SIXTH RACE 5-8 MILE. GAME .LADY raced close to the pace from the start, went out slightly on the final turn but continued on gamely under a drive. DYNASTIC, on the extreme outside rounding the turns, was put to pressure and failed to negotiate the final turn, slipping along the inside. CHARING ROCK, forwardly placed, rallied mildly when put to a drive. DAUNTEDID, steadied in close attendance to the pace saved ground and, while tiring, was weaving.
