Deming Will Campaign Ten Head at Centennial Loutey, Air Commander Among Unit That Will Come From Omaha LITTLETON, Colo., June 2.— Among the more consistent stables that will ship to Centennial Park from Omaha for the coming meeting is the 10-horse stable trained by Harold Deming. The horses are owned by Cleve Milroy of North Platte, Nebr., and will be sent here for the 50-day session opening June 30. The steady going Loutey will head the band. The latter has already turned in six winning efforts this year. Loutey began the year campaigning against horses of the ,000 type but has been moving up steadily in company with each score. He is currently being raced for a tag of ,000 at Omaha. A recent acquisition via the claiming route is the good performer Air Commander. The latter was second in his last outing at Omaha, and prior to that effort won two races, in Chicago. Air Comamnder will be seen here in the ,500 bracket, and he is equally at home sprinting or going a distance of ground. Deming also has the highly useful sprinter Ripiar, who turned in a pair of winning races earlier in the year while racing at Santa Anita. Breath Taker, a hard-hitting plater who has three victories at this writing, will also be in the band. In the shipment will be the top-flight quarter horse, Percy, who will be seen in the best "short" events at Centennial. Deming is also bringing three two-year-olds and a pair of three-year-olds to complete his shipment. One of the larger stables that vnll, ship here from Omaha will be that of W. D. Rorick and L. O. Lane of Johnson, Kan. The powerful aggregation will be trained by L. O. "Spec" Lane during the meeting. The top performer in the 20-horse stable is the veteran allowance and handicap performer, Dad. A recent check with assistant racing .secretary Bill Milner shows that the number of horses on the grounds is rapidly approaching the 200 matk-with mofefir-i riving daily.
