Teddy Reigh Seeking His Third Straight Triumph Meets Stern Competition in Storz 75th Anniversary Purse By C. LINDEMAN Staff Correspondent AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 4.— Teddy Reigh will be making his third appearance .here tomorrow when he tries for his third straight win in the Storz seventy-fifth Anniversary Purse. The eight-year-old son of Sun Teddy from the stable of R. A. Davis has won both of his races here and tomorrow he races a mile and 70 yards. A full field has been named to test their endurance in the sixth event. The Davis star won his second and last outing here at a mile and one-eighth when he scored by a length. and a quarter in 1:46 over a fast racing strip. In winning that event Teddy Reigh carried 114 pounds. His other victory was on opening day when he romped home to win at a mile and 70 yards two lengths over Chump Trick. That race was also over .a fast track. In the main attrction tomorrow, the Davis gelding may have to show his .best over an "off" track as the weather is none to promising. The Storz seventy-fifth Anniversary Purse will have other good route runners like Chump Trick trying for the major portion of the ,300 purse. Chump Trick has some very good races to his credit here at this meeting having finished second to Teddy Reigh in his first out and also a bang-up second to B. D. Hatter at a mile and 70 yards. The Alexander color-bearer had some trouble in his last race here when he was off very slow and had to make up a lot of ground in the final stages, he was closing fast and would have been much closer had he been* away in good shape. Chump Trick will be a real threat in this event. Others in the feature are Beebee Shot, a winner of both of his starts here this meeting. Beebee Shot won both of his races in slower time than Teddy Reighs best races but his last race was over a * sloppy track and he won by 10 open lengths. Sonatay, .also a winner here this season, will compete, as well as Esther K, My Suzy Bell, A La Reigh, Little Lillian, Adriana, Master Bird, Monifeith and Jerrette.
