Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., June 4. Trainer Dan Hardy departed with his public stable for Fairmount Park. The shipment included Oiseau, Stony Snark, Fast Donna and Flareto. Contemplated plans are for the J. E. Hankins racers, Red .Sam and Bull Rocket, to be returned to his Tennessee farm, where the pair will be turned out for the next several months. Owner and trainer E. S. Brumfield checked in from Lexington, Ky., and registered Gray Fleet, Furlana, Airlux and Crystal Stream. The Brumfield unit previously was campaigned at Keeneland and Churchill Downs. Cedric Nelson, conditioner of the Valley View Farm of J. Dan Hardy has taken over the training duties of his Fast Donna and Flareto, a pair of three-year-olds. For M. Stone, he will condition Oiseau and Stony Snark. The racers were formerly trained by M. C. Simone who has one of the larger public stables here. Mrs. Max Hoops, whose husband serves as placing judge here, came from their Kansas City, Mo., home and will remain for several days. Apprentice Robert Chlopek, who has been sidelined due to a leg injury received in a spill during a morning workout, will return to saddle duties on Tuesday nights card. G. W. Renfroes Als Play has been shipped here and will be trained by W. T. Scott, who also has four head for Mrs. Isabelle Levy. Trainer R. A. Dealy registered 11 head, the property; cO| .Mrs. E. Muskier, St. Louis, Mo. The horses recently campaigned in. Chicago and included in the string are such good performers as Ruthred, Harvest Time, Elevenpoint and Sassy-Ace. Haltermen have been active during the first seven days of racing here when seven head changed hands by the claiming route. Owner T. Gammon has acquired two head when he claimed Pouting Mac from Mrs. R. S. Byrum and Rala from the partnership of A. J. Horn and R. P. Crow. The only racer appearing on the veterinarian" list at the present is the Verde Stock Farms Hen Sprig. K. Winnings registered four, head for L. H. Jansen. They are Koko G., Sue Cat, Blue Arrow and Miss L.*H.
