DeSpirito to Ride in Preakness SUFFOLK DOWNS. East Boston, Mass., May 12. — Tony DeSpirito is Preakness bound. The sensational New England race rider, was offered the mount on Jim Norris Jamie K. in the Preakness a week from Saturday. J. B. Partridge, who trains for the Norris string, wired the little Lawrence booter today offering him the mount and there is little doubt that Tony will accept this challenge.
