MEG MARCH, always within striking distance, responded when shaken for the stretch run and after taking command drew clear under brisk urging. FLICKA STAR held a slight lead when settled for the drive, tired when punished and was unable to hold the winner. HALS JESTING was sent into closer contention on the final turn and closed willingly in a good effort. BASHAW failed to make up appreciable ground when guided to the outside for the final test. DASH FOR CASH failed to stay after showing early speed. SIR ANHUT had no mishap. PEACE MISSION tired. BIG INDIAN was outrun. JAMES B. retired steadily from a rapid beginning. MAGIC MOMENT was through early. GRAY RONALD showed nothing. BRIGHT PASS reached near even terms with the leader at the furlong marker, then held on willingly when placed to a drive. ROYAL ADMIRAL alternated in pressing and setting the early pace, held sway entering the stretch, then shortened stride when punished. PEE-JAY rallied too late to seriously endanger the top ones. ELFKIN lacked early foot. M00ND0G made a game bid when straightened for the drive, then faltered. TUSCANIA was unable to keep up. FAIR BROTHER tired. THRUST was outrun. PROCEED made a challenging move on the far turn, bobbled slightly on the next jump and failed to seriously endanger the winner thereafter. PHIBLANT tired when set down for the straightaway after making the final fenqe. LANCRELraced evenly through the late stages without mishap. TOURISTETTE was always outrun. AESTHETE was lightly reserved while in the clear and closest to the pace, went to the front when ready and quickly drew clear to win with authority. ONE MISS assumed a clear early advantage, held sway at the furlong marker and though unable to repell the surge of the winner, held on gamely to easily best the others. MARTA stumbled slightly leaving the gate, saved ground when guided to the inside on the final turn, but under pressure, failed to make up appreciable ground. ISLAY MIST raced forwardly to the stretch, then faltered. DEVILKIN had no apparent excuse. MILSPAL failed to stay. NO SCORE never threatened. DASHING BY began alertly, then dropped from contention.
