BUFFER, reserved and saving ground to the final turn, came wide under a drive, responded willingly and was along to best TIO TITO. The latter raced close to the pace for six furlongs, assumed command when set down, drew clear and was under constant pressure. MESTIZA, forwardly placed, was unable to menace. BLACK BAY weakened after forcing the pace. POTTERAC saved ground to no avail. THE GLOBE passed tiring horses. OUTLAND lost ground and was unable to reach contention.
