Grandview Purse Heads Beulah Park Card Today Storm of Gold Likely Favorite; Six-Furlong Feature Attracts Ten BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 12. — There are nine races on the mid-week card tomorrow at this central Ohio course, with the place of honor going to the Grandview Purse, a claiming affair for four-year-olds and upward at six furlongs. Offered as the eighth race, the feature attracted a field of 10 starters, wtih three on the also-eligible list. Several named for the headliner have faced the starter at this meeting, while others will be making their first local apeparance and this condition makes for a wide open test. Storm Of Gold, who races for the partnership of Efrizz and Jones, gave evidence of present fitness when she was a creditable third in her race here last Saturday when facing ,500 rivals. In the Grand-view, the entrants carry claiming tags of ,000 and this should be in favor of the daughter of Stormscud. Capable of providing stiff competition on her best effort is J. G. Browns Sassy Susan, who has a trace of class and who has been going through her trials in a manner to suggest that a tally is not far away. George McFarlands Yazdegerd is another who has impressed by morning moves and his top performance would find him a threat. If Mrs. Bronnebergs Jim Tigress moves into the race, she must be accorded respect. With the exception of the ninth race, all races will be decided at six furlongs.
