SQUIRE WILSON, forwardly placed from the beginning, responded willingly when set down through the stretch and wore down FANCY REWARD in the last sixteenth. The latter took command early, set the pace until inside the stretch and held on well but could not withstand the top one. TRIP NORTH was unable to better her position when set down in the drive. FAST TRAFFIC, on the outside to the upper turn, failed to respond when hard ridden through the stretch. SOME GO gave a fair effort and had no mishap. SIR CHEERS lacked early speed. LIKE SWEEP began sluggishly. DON BUSTER had a rough race. NIGHT BOAT, rank during the post parade, broke with his field and then raced greenly. STEEL CABLE was through early. DOCTOR GLYN had brief speed. SIS MORAN showed nothing. The latter moved up boldly after leaving the upper turn, responded to punishment during the stretch run and was getting to the winner at the end. WISE CRICKET engaged FAIR PILOT for a half mile, then gave way. FIDDLER JOE, forced wide by THATS FOR SURE at the stretch turn, failed to recover. UDO REINACH began sluggishly. DELUX JOHN showed nothing. THATS FOR SURE had early speed, but bore out badly during the last three-eighths mile. BULL HALSEY could not keep up. TONYS TROUBLE could not better his position when set down through the stretch. SWEET FREEDOM was outrun. VIS PRIDE was never dangerous. PLATTER SCOUT was through early. KASLICK, outrun to the last three-eighths mile, closed willingly under punishment but could not get to the winner. 0MABERRY gave a good effort and had no mishap. ISOCRATES, next to the inner rail from the beginning, was unable to reach serious contention when set down through the stretch. McCOSH went to the front early, set the pace until inside the stretch, then gave way when challenged by BLENDID MUSIC. RAPID MAIL tired. JUNIORS ACE, rough at the post, raced well to the stretch but failed to stay. GINNY WIN, fractious inside the stall gate before the start, was never prominent in the running.
