Kelley, Ex-Miller Owner, Dies MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., June 6 UP.— Mike Kelley, 79, former owner of the Minneapolis Millers of the American Association, died here early today. Kelley was associated with baseball from 1895 until 1946, when he sold the Millers to the New York Giants. He started in baseball as a player with Augusta, Me., of the New England League in 1895. Kelley became* manager and president of the Millers in 1923 and headed the club until its sale to the Giants.
