SUNNYMAN, slow to reach best stride, moved with a rush on the stretch turn to challenge and drew clear in the final sixteenth mile. BOOK MATCH, under light restraint in the. early stages, came between horses in the stretch to challenge and was unable to withstand SUNNYMAN. RAZZBERRY, within striking distance throughout, moved up on the turn and weakened in the final furlong. KIKUYU was rushed to the front, opened a commanding lead and gave way in midstretch, ARDETTE could not reach contention. MIKE TERRY was never a serious factor.. DELOVE was outrun.
