Queen Margie, Trim Destiny Show High Speed in Trials DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 6. — Thomas F. Devereux crack two-year-old stakes-winning filly, Queen Margie, and G. R. Whites homebred three -year-old colt, Trim Destiny, Arkansas Derby victor, occupied the spotlight during the Sunday morning training period. Queen Margie worked five-eighths of a mile in 1:00% handily, after posting the following fractions, quarter in :22%, three furlongs in :34£, and she passed the half mile marker in :47. Trim Destiny, displaying high speed, stepped seven furlongs . in 1:25% quite handily. The early choice for the Livonia Stakes sped three furlongs in :35%, passed the half in :47%, and the three-quarters mile in 1:12%. Trainer Pat Devereux was more than - Satisfied with Queen Margies drill while Cecil Locklear, conditioner for i Trim Destiny,- stated * that his fcolts* trial far exceeded his expectations.
