LADY REACT went into a clear lead and came to the rail soon after the start, was hard put for the drive and got the nod over REBEL BELL. The latter was forwardly placed from the start, went up to be on nearly even terms for command in the stretch and missed in a good try. SUMMER BLUES lacked early speed and closed with good courage. MEL 0* BIM broke greenly. TASA had good speed, until entering the stretch and faltered. LIVING HIGH broke greenly. J. WILLIAM tired. FIREY ONE, steadied while in good position, was forced to go wide leaving the final turn when going up to dispose of the leaders and drew away. CONCENTRATE was hustled along while making up ground, took command by a slight margin on the final turn and outgamed ANAGAZANDRA for the place. The latter had speed from the start and nothing left when set down for the real test JUDGE M. vied for command in the opening six furlongs and weakened. VALIANT LADY tired. SAXAIR showed little.
