/ Purcell Visiting at Detroit DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 6. — John C. Purcell, president and general manager of the Bahr Starting Gate Corporation, and also president of the Puett Electrical Starting Gate Corporation, is a Detroit visitor. Purcell is here for an inspection of the equipment in use here and for a conference with general manager Robert Leavitt, of the MRA. After a brief Motor City stop, Purcell will journey to Omahas Ak-Sar-Ben meeting.
