Turner Weights 23 Horses For Oceanport Handicap OCEANPORT, N. J., June 6.— Weights for the 5,000 added Oceanport Handicap, inaugural feature of the 50-day meeting at Monmouth Park, were released this morning by racing secretary John P. Turner, Jr. Maine Chance Farms Jet Action and Walter M. Jeffords Tahiti were each assigned 124 pounds for Saturdays six furlong stake, heading a list of 23 nominees. Joe W. Browns Bobby Brocato was given 122 and Morris Sims Blessbullwas allocated 120. Turners early estimate is for a field of eight or nine. Tahiti is expected to answer the challenge, being fresh from two decisive triumphs. Jet Action has not been postward since last February at Hialeah and he is not considered a likely starter.
