GAY JET look command at the outset, opened a clear lead in the early stages and was well rated to hold the opposition safe. BATCH, slow to reach best stride, closed well in the final quarter mile. GRAND GRAPHEN saved ground along the rail position and lacked a closing rally. OUR COUNTRY forced the early pace and weakened. TOSCA was forced, wide on the first turn and raced evenly. CELERITER went wide on the first turn, moved boldly on the stretch turn and tired. WISE MARKET was outrun. CLING TO could not reach contention. DIVE had early speed.
