All First Time Starters MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 25. "First-time starter" could have been applied to horse, owner and trainer in Fridays first race. Star Girl, a three-year-old daughter of Johns Star Helens Girl, made her debut. It was the first horse ever sent to the post in the colors of Stephen DePasquale and it was the first horse saddled by Ben Perkins since he took out his license as a trainer. The Perkins family once owned a good deal of the land on which now stands Garden State Park.
