Republican member of the State Racing Commission, expires this month but the Millersburg sportsman may serve another terms if he so wishes, according to a reliable but unofficial source. Gov. Frank J., Lausche is ready to reappoint Elliott should the latter be available, the source said. The term of Zoltan Gombos, Democratic chairman of the Commission, expires in June, 1956. Thomas Lloyd, Republican member of the board, has until June, 1957, to serve while Robert Hoffheimer, a Democrat, is filling a term that does not expire until June, 1958. The law requires that the membership of the board be bi-partisan with the term of one member expiring each year. Commissioners normally are named for four years.
