BELMONT PARK NOTES $ , 4 NEW YORK, NT. Y., June 8. Entries for the opening day of the Queens County Jockey Club at Aqueduct will close at Belmont Park at 1:30 oclock Saturday. This meeting opens Monday. Charles F. Hill of the Thoroughbred Sale Company made his first appearance of the season and reported that his company would in due season arrange a thoroughbred auction. Joseph McLennan was in from Canada and he reported that the Canadian racing this year had been better patronized than in several years. Just now Mr. McLennan Is busying himself in behalf of the Blue Bonnets meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club, which is to open a week from Saturday. Dr. M. J. Dair returned from Red Bank, X. J., where he went to inspect the horsea quartered there, the property of the Green-tree Stable. Walter Carter, acting for the Rosedale Stable, purchased the contract that Sandy McXaugiiton held on the services of jockey C. Lindseth. The latter rode in California for C. B. Irwin, from whom McXaughton purchased Ma contract.
