WHISKERY S ADIEU TO TURF LEXINGTON, Ky., June 25.— Whiskery, great race horse, failure as a stallion, now a gelding, has gone from Claiborne Stud, Paris, Ky., to Morven Stud, Charlotteville, Va., to serve as a saddle horse for Charles A. Stone, a friend and neighbor of A. B. Hancock in Virginia. Whiskery was sent in a car with eleven mares and they are arriving today at their destination. The mares are Blue Eagle and filly by Mad Hatter, bred to Toro; Bonne Etoile and filly by Sir Gallahad III., bred to Stimulus; Bramble Rose and filly by Camp-fire, bred to Gallant Fox; Brown Rose and filly by Stimulus, bred to Stimulus; Flower of Yarrow and colt by Sir Gallahad III., bred to Chance Shot; Tinamou and filly by Stimulus, bred to Brown Bud; Celtiva, bred to Campfire; Interlude, bred to Sir Gallahad III.; Margie C, bred to St. James, Miss De-mina, bred to Single Foot, all sent to Morven Stud, and Bumble Bee, bred to Single Foot and shipped to J. Woods Garth.
