Thomas Veitch Named to Post LEXINGTON, Ky., May 2. — Thomas Veitch has been appointed superintendent of the thoroughbreds at the C. V. Whitney Farm. Veitch has been serving as assistant to his brother Sylvester, trainer of the Whitney racing stable and has long been associated with thoroughbreds. He has been associated with the Whitney stable for several years. Veitch succeeds the late William Harris, who died recently.
