Harry Bensinger, Louisville Owner and Breeder, Succumbs CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 15.— Harry Bensinger, 63 years old, former operator of a thoroughbred breeding farm at 0"Bannon, passed away yesterday afternoon at his home, 2109 Village Drive. In his earlier years, Bensinger ran a furniture business in New Albany, Ind., but he was a native of Louisville. Bensinger owned a racing stable for many years and trainer Carroll Lang presently has a sizable unit quartered at the Downs, which campaigned under the silks of the late sportsman. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Coralie Bensinger, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Benjamin and Mrs. Walter Stern, both of New Albany; three sisters, Mrs. David Halle, Memphis; Mrs. Hugo Marx, Birmingham, and Mrs. Cora Hirsch, of Louisville, and four grandchildren. Funeral services for Bensinger will be private.
