Van Zandt Visits Omaha AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 24. — L. Henderson Van Zandt was at Ak-Sar-Ben soliciting horses for the 2,000 St. Louis Derby at Cahokia Downs. Nominations for the one mile and one-sixteenth, three-year-old event, will close July 8. Van Zandt, also racing secretary at James C. Ellis Park, was distributing condition books for that Henderson, Ky., meeting. He said that the Ellis Park condition book was the first to publish a six-way purse distribution.
