The Bull Lea colt, whose last start was a photo victory in the Jersey Stakes at Garden State Park on May 25, indicated hes ready to resume competition as he reeled off a half-mile fraction in :48V6 and 1:13% for six furlongs. He was accompanied by sta-blemate Smileytown for the entire journey. Another Armour candidate, John L. Appelbaums Mister Jive, worked six furlongs in 1:1253 handily, after a first quarter in :24 and a half-mile reading in :A7%. William S. Millers Chicagoan Stakes winner, Better Bee, also tried Arlingtons main strip this morning, breezing seven, furlongs in 1:27%.
