Stewards Rulings ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 24. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Groom Richard Luther Wells is suspended pending his appearance before the stewards to answer the charges of falsification of his application for a license." "Ned Robert Measer, is ordered ejected from the stable area for being habitually intoxicated and for fighting. It is recommended to the Illinois Racing Board that he be denied access to all race tracks under their jurisdiction." SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 24. — The stewards here today issued "the following ruling: "Exercise boy Roberto Tapia, TRBP No. 3-3563 is suspended for the remainder of this meeting and denied the privileges of the grounds for creating a disturbance in the grandstand area on June 22." MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 24. — The stewards today issued the following ruling: "Jockey Charles OBrien is suspended for ten 10 days June 26th through July 5th for careless riding, • eighth race, Monmouth Park, June 22, 1957." THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 24. — The ThistleDown stewards issued the following rulings here today: j~ " Jockey Roy Duncan is suspended fifteen racing days for deliberate rough riding during the running of the ninth race on June 22. His suspension begins on June 26 and terminates on July 12, inclusive. "Apprentice jockey Michael Roffo is suspended ten days for .rough riding during the running of the second race on June 22. His suspension begins June 26 and terminates on July 5, inclusive. CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, 111., June 24. — The stewards here issued the following rulings today: "Jockey James Andrew Daily is suspended 10 racing nights, for careless riding during the running of the sixth race Saturday night, June 22. Suspension begins June 25 ending July 5, both dates inclusive. "Jockey Carl J. Daigrepont is suspended 10 racing nights for careless riding during the running of the seventh race on Saturday night, June 22. Suspension begins June 25 ending July 5, both dates inclusive." WOODBINE, Etobicoke, Ontario, June 24. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "In the sixth race on Saturday, June 22, Pink Velvet was disqualified from first position and placed second for coining in and impeding Lyford Gay at the half-mile pole. Jockey Eddie Plesa, who rode Pink Velvet, is suspended for five days, June 26 to June 30, inclusive."
