TO RIDE A HORSE 100 MILES IN 24 HOURS. New York, July 20. Society is at present inter-estodin a wager to test the endurance of one of the prominent racehorse owners as a long distance rider. It Is between "Eddie" Norton and II. K. Vingut. Mr. Norton wagered Mr. Vingut ,000 that the latter cannot ride a horse 100 miles in 24 hours. The trial is to be made witliin two weeks and will probably come off at Shcepshead Bay.
