Won easily; second and third driving. Moccasin Maid, running the best race she has shown, followed the early leaders closely to the stretch turn, where she assumed the lead and came away with ease. Beatrice K., lucky throughout, showed the way to the last sixteenth, where she tired slightly and barely lasted long enough to save second place. Lacecc. away n a tangle, had to overcome much Interference and tinishoxl going ifast. Lady March was in close quarters during the stretch run and ran a good race. Toppy Girl tired after going a half and was worked out an extra furlong. Cygnet showed speed, but failed to stay. Delia Thorpe, favored by the sloppy going, showed the most speed all the way and, slaying better than usual, held Friction safe through the stretch drive. Friction, away slowly, lead to close a considerable gap and tired slightly in the linal drive. Tollgatherer broke fully in motion and ran forwardlv from the start, finishing well and was much, the best of the others. La Thorpe quit after lieing a contender for the first half. Elected ran a bad race and seemingly disliked till muddy going. Emily Frances showed speed, but tired badly in the last furlong. Sand Batli began slowly and moved up gamely after going a half and. standing a hard drive resolutely, got up for second place in the final stride. Mum showed great speed for the first live furlongs, but quit badly thereafter. Potter ran a fairly good race only and was outpaced throughout. The others were always outrun and were never serious contenders. Full of Fun fenced well, but lagged badly between jumps and was an easing up third. Weird tired fast after going one turn of the lield and was eased up. .Tolo was beaten off.
