NEW FIELD FOR RACING IN WEST. The proposition of W. A. Clark, Jr., to form a summer racing circuit In the cities of Denver, Salt Lake, Ogden, Colorado Springs, Great Falls, Helena, Livingston, Butte, Seattle and Spokane Is receiving encouragement from the press iu the far west. The plans are uncertain as yet, but it is understood that Z. G. Stebbins, of Chicago, who presided in the judges stand at the recent Denver meeting, and G. A. Wahlgreen, secretary of the Denver-Overland Club, will visit the cities named In the course of the next thirty days for the purpose of organizing for the summer of 1007. The racing on this circuit will embrace a period of about six months. It is likely that the Western Jockey Club will govern.
