W. MINTYRE BREAKS HIS COLLARBONE. Salem, N. II., July 20. Jockey W. Mclntyre had his collarbone broken as the result of a collision between Miss Morgan and Buddy just after the start in the last race at Rockingham Park today. Garner, who was riding Iluddy, escaped uninjured. Another banner crowd was out today, many visitors coming hy special train from the neighboring New England cities. The superheated atmosphere made the afternoon uncomfortable. Mike Daly wore a broad grin today after having captured two races, one of them the Continental Handicap, of ,000, at six furlongs for two-year-olds, the feature of the card. J. C. Nallys Sheridan was an added starter, but might just as well have been left in the barn. Johnny Daly rated his fathers horse carefully, holding him In reserve until he was ready to move up, giving him a vigorous hand ride through the stretch. Tomorrow is to lie the closing day and a tremendous crowd is .expected, hence the seven races. Matt Byrnes will ship to Saratoga from here.
