MAHER RIDES ANOTHER STAKE WINNER. London, July 20. Llangibby, ridden by Danny Maher, won the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park today. Beppo was second and Wombwell was third. Nine horses started. "Skeets" Martin rode Womb-well. The betting was 2 to 1 against Llangibby, which was an easy winner. The Eclipse Stakes are of 10,000 sovereigns, for three aud four-year-lds; distance about one mile and a quarter.
